Night Market Vendor Info

Union Square Night Market Info

Event Location: Union Square, Somerville, right in the middle, for those of you that are familiar with the area, it will be where the farmers market is held.

Address: 75 Union Square, Somerville, MA (Google Maps Link

Event time: 5:00 pm -10: pm

Load in time: 2:30 pm  (Please do not arrive earlier than 2:30, the farmers market in the same location earlier in the day and we need to allow time for those vendors to pack up)

Closing time is advertised as 10pm  You are allowed to sell until 10:30 while packing up.

When you arrive, please check in with Greg or Abby and we will direct you to your spot. There is a small parking lot at the end of Washington St. in front of The Independent where you can pull in and unload. We ask that you unload your vehicle first and then move it to the parking lot before you start setting up.

If you have a lot of items or an elaborate set-up please arrive closer to 2:30 to unload your vehicle. If you have a smaller/simpler set-up it would be helpful if you arrive closer to 3:30. By staggering the arrival times we hope to allow everyone to be able to unload easily and not be in each other's way.

Parking: There is a parking lot on Bonner Ave. behind the old Post Office that will be available for vendors to park in. It is very close by (2 min walk).  For those of you that are Somerville Residents, please use the on street permit parking if you have a parking permit. We would like to save the parking lot for vendors who are non-Somerville residents,  as there is limited metered parking in Union Square.

Lighting and Tents:  Tents and tent weights are mandatory. For the night market vendors are also responsible for bringing their own lighting. There will be electricity for you to plug into. Extension cords are recommended as well. Keep in mind there will be some ambient lighting from the Square and surrounding businesses and the sun sets at about 8pm in May, so we won't be in the pitch black but you will want to incorporate some kind of lighting into your set-up.

As usual, feel free to reach out to Greg or Abby if you have any questions.
